He's likely to be an each-way price and is worth a decent bet - I'm very hopeful

Upping The Ante star

Trials day at Cheltenham is one of my favourite fixtures of the jumps season and even more so this year with nine races to get stuck into. Glorious.

The extravaganza kicks off with the Grade 2 JCB Triumph Trial (11.40) and my main take is that Jupiter Du Gite should be twice the price he is. I'll be laying him.

I’m willing to put my money where my mouth is and bet he’s nowhere near as good as he looked at Newbury. He got a soft lead there and went around the inside while some of his opponents went wide looking for imaginary better ground. He's unlikely to be afforded such advantages this time and is to be opposed in the win and place markets. In fact, he's one to be opposed in any market you can find. He has no chance as far as I'm concerned.
