In life you do not always get what you deserve. Within the confines of our own little parish that has been horribly evident in recent weeks.

Nothing highlights this more than the fate that befell Freddy Tylicki at the conclusion of a season in which his star had soared higher than ever before.

His ongoing battle, one in which he will rightly receive endless support from the sport he has served with distinction, will be not just about the physical but also the mental. For others, obviously to a much lesser extent, the same will be true.
