Great to be back at the races as Churchill lights up Newmarket

We had a fantastic couple of days racing here in Newmarket last weekend and I really enjoyed heading along to the Rowley Mile to watch the Qipco 2,000 Guineas last Saturday with my former agent Paul Clarke.

It's the first time I've been racing since I was injured but I'm keen to get on with things and it was a great experience. I have to say a big thank you to everyone at Newmarket for inviting me to enjoy what was an excellent day.

I was lucky enough to bump into some interesting people and the highlight was seeing the ultimate legend that is Lester Piggott. He's still an idol for so many of the lads riding today because he's been there and done it all. He was probably the first jockey to really capture peoples' imagination and the uniqueness of his character made him outstanding.
