Galopin Des Champs better be bloody brilliant or else he has made eejits of us

We weren't ready for another one. Not now. Not just yet. It's too soon. We still don't know whether Bob Olinger is a bluffer or not for goodness sake, and we had only 48 hours to digest what Ferny Hollow did, and Bravemansgame for that matter. They can't all be bloody brilliant.

Yet I can visualise it now; you're sitting at a pub quiz in 2030 and the following question pops up: which dual Cheltenham Gold Cup winner was 100-1 for a novice hurdle once upon a time?

The answer, of course, will be Galopin Des Champs. The first part of that question sounds pretty plausible, right? The second part not so much.
