Faugheen as good as ever and all set to show what he is made of

Faugheen heads our Leopardstown team on the final day of the Christmas festival and while he looks to have an outstanding chance of achieving a ninth Grade 1 win in the Ryanair Hurdle (2.10), we're taking nothing for granted.

We were delighted with his comeback win in the Morgiana Hurdle last month when he showed he was good as ever, winning by 16 lengths. It was an excellent performance considering he had been off the track for so long.

He's been in great form since that Punchestown win. This race will be only his second run at Leopardstown, where he won the Irish Champion Hurdle by 15 lengths almost two years ago. He's all set to show what he's made of.
