Envoi Allen might need time to prove a superstar - but it's time we don't have

The other day my wife began knitting. She's 35. The other morning, shortly after 10am, the same wife suggested we should go for a walk. A downright ridiculous suggestion. If we went for a walk then, what would we have to look forward to for the rest of the day? We sat back down on the couch, getting lower to the floor with every passing hour, and waited until early afternoon.
We spend most of our days talking about what we shouldn't be eating and then eat it. Flattening my own curve is proving more arduous than the Covid one. Did you know caramel is simply sugar and water? No, really, it's true. I wish I never found out.
The days are getting longer and that means only one thing: we have to go to bed later. Perish the thought. There is something fulfilling about crawling into bed at night, knowing another day in lockdown has been successfully completed. Well, that is if you judge success by eating and sitting like we do.
