As annual members for a number of years, my wife and I are ashamed of what Goodwood is becoming.

The scenes of violence last Saturday that have gone viral worldwide should be a massive wake-up call to the Goodwood management.
While we did not witness this fight, there were growing problems of drunken behaviour in the Richmond Stand from around 3pm onwards, and what happened has been brewing for a couple of years.

Incidents at The Kennels during last years ‘Glorious’ meeting were a warning of what was ahead.
