Colin Keane faces a major title battle - and 11-4 is top value for his big rival

Taking on Colin Keane in the Flat jockeys' championship in recent years has been an arduous task.

The County Meath man has won three of the last five championships in Ireland, most notably breaking the record for most victories in a season last year with 141 winners, and he sits in a good position this term with 50 winners on the board from 351 runners, at a strike-rate of 14 per cent. However, this year a new rival has emerged from the pack.

Billy Lee has made a flying start and leads the jockeys' championship with 54 winners from 295 runners - a strike-rate of 18 per cent - and while he may not get as many rides as the man he now leads, he certainly makes them count.
