I wish to pay tribute to trainer Bill Harney who passed away pre-Christmas.

Billy trained a small number of relatively inexpensive jumps horses over a long career in Templemore, County Tipperary.

Although also a fully practising vet, he nevertheless was resolutely loyal to the sport until 2019. His hard work yielded a good return of winners.
