When the factions involved in running racing came out with the statement pledging to work together for the good of the sport, we all hoped they meant it.

I remember when the all-powerful Jockey Club ran racing with a rod of iron, and we cannot go on without there being only one outright ruler presently.

Now that a statement has been made by a committee that they will all work together for the good of our sport, I just hope that when some medicine needs to be taken, racing’s bodies continue to accept the solutions required.
