Dane O'Neill, who suffered a fracture in his back in mid-May, is to return to race-riding at Bath on Wednesday evening.

The second jockey to owner Hamdan Al Maktoum is looking forward to being back in the saddle but admitted the wait had been frustrating.

He said: "As it's a lower back injury, I had to spend six weeks in a brace and was unable to do much at all – you can only bide your time with these things."
