Minella Rocco: landed the most recent running of the National Hunt Chase

Several big jump races, including the National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, have been upgraded for the 2016-17 season by the BHA’s Jump Pattern Committee.

The four-mile endurance test, won by Minella Rocco this year, becomes a Grade 2 race from a Listed contest, while Sandown’s bet365 Select Hurdle follows the same path.

Two novice hurdle races at Cheltenham and Perth have been granted Listed status.
