Minella Indo ranks as the highest-rated horse in training after picking up an RPR of 179 for his Cheltenham Gold Cup success last week.

That figure puts him second only to Don Cossack among the last ten Gold Cup winners, while A Plus Tard (178) also earned a figure worthy of a typical Gold Cup winner after finishing a length and quarter away in second.

Dual winner Al Boum Photo (175) set a high standard and ran in line with his recent form to take third. He finished fully 24 lengths ahead of another former winner, Native River, which serves to underline the quality of the first two.
