Midweek fun in Galmoy Hurdle before seven Grade 2s on an action-packed Saturday
Monday
A frozen track has put paid to Market Rasen's meeting but Plumpton was given the go-ahead 20 minutes before the first race.
With the Sussex track raceable, the 2m4½f novice hurdle (2.20) catches the eye.
The Nicky Henderson-trained Lilly Pedlar was the closest pursuer to Supreme Novices' Hurdle hope Boothill at Taunton last time and bids to go one better.
However, Nico de Boinville rides Lilly Pedlar's stablemate Fantastic Lady, with both mares receiving 13lb from previous winners African Dance and Brewers Project in a hot race.
Chelmsford and Kempton provide all-weather action on the Flat.
Tuesday
The recent spell of adverse weather in Britain and Ireland continues to put meetings in jeopardy and Kelso joined the cancellations on Monday.
Down Royal officials are also monitoring the situation at the Northern Irish track.
If the seven-race card goes ahead, 2017 Champion Bumper second Debuchet might go close in the 2m3½f rated novice hurdle (2.20).
He has been sent off favourite in both starts since his switch to trainer Gavin Cromwell and is rated 9lb lower over hurdles than fences.
Southwell races on the all-weather in the afternoon while Wolverhampton provides the evening entertainment.
Wednesday
The rearranged Horse & Jockey Hotel Chase card at Thurles heads the afternoon action. The 2m4f Grade 2 (1.20) is likely to feature top-level winner Battleoverdoyen for Gordon Elliott.
Willie Mullins may field a strong team in opposition, with Allaho, Easy Game, Annamix and Elimay likely to be declared again.
Colreevy landed the Grade 1 Faugheen Novice Chase at Limerick last time and is likely to step down in class for the Grade 2 mares' contest (12.45) earlier on the card.
Watch back Colreevy's Grade 1 success
Weather permitting, Catterick and Wincanton supply the British jumping, while the Polytrack action comes from Lingfield and Kempton.
Thursday
Tip-top performers Presenting Percy (two) and Benie Des Dieux (one) have shared the last three runnings of the John Mulhern Galmoy Hurdle and Bapaume is the highest-rated entry this year.
Cesarewitch winner Great White Shark may also return in this Gowran Park Grade 2 (2.20) and could emerge as a serious Stayers' Hurdle contender.
It could be another excellent day for Willie Mullins and he may hold the key to the Goffs Thyestes Handicap Chase (3.25) with Koshari.
The nine-year-old returned from two and a half years off the track with a smooth hurdles victory at Cork this month and might be well treated off 140 if reverting to fences.
Further jumping is pencilled in at Wetherby and Fakenham, with Southwell and Newcastle hosting the all-weather action.
Friday
Horses are afforded another opportunity to book their places in the Pertemps Network Final at the Cheltenham Festival in the latest qualifier at Huntingdon (3.20).
Jessica Harrington has intriguingly entered Silver Sheen, who was fancied for the Final last year before injury thwarted his participation.
Champagne Platinum is another possible runner to note for Nicky Henderson. He ran well on his return at Newbury and was sent off joint-favourite for the Kim Muir last season.
Sprinter Sacre's brother Flinteur Sacre has two entries at Doncaster and Huntingdon. He was far from disgraced when too keen and fourth to My Drogo on his hurdling bow.
Cards at Wolverhampton and Lingfield are booked in for Flat followers.
Saturday
Festival Trials day takes centre stage with each of the four televised contests sure to have ante-post ramifications.
The key races are the JCB Triumph Trial Juvenile Hurdle, the Cotswold Chase, the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle and the Cleeve Hurdle, all of which are Grade 2 contests.
Doncaster also hosts three Grade 2s. The Yorkshire Rose Mares' Hurdle, the Lightning Novices' Chase and the Albert Bartlett River Don Novices' Hurdle precede the feature Sky Bet Chase (3.15).
Fairyhouse is the point of focus for Irish racing. Lingfield and Kempton are the all-weather venues.
Sunday
The Grade 3 Naas Racecourse Business Club Novice Steeplechase is the most noteworthy race to end the week.
Carefully Selected ran out a good winner of this last year under a penalty and was subsequently sent off favourite for the National Hunt Chase.
Fontwell and Uttoxeter provide the punting opportunities for those looking for action in Britain.
