Leading jockey James Reveley suffers broken arm in Pau fall
James Reveley, one of the stars of the weighing room in France, suffered a broken arm in a fall at Pau on Saturday.
France's champion jump jockey in 2016 was operated on overnight after his mount Liberatore crashed out of the Prix Chateau de Pau over fences.
Keith Reveley, father of James, said on Sunday morning: "He's broken his arm but is fine and had an operation on it last night.
"I haven't spoken to James yet this morning but hopefully there were no complications."
Reveley has enjoyed lots of high-profile victories in France and struck twice at the top level this year. He partnered On The Go to victory in the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris in May, one of three victories in the race for the rider, and Master Dino in the Prix Renaud du Vivier last month.
