One trainer, one jockey, one horse and one race to watch on Saturday

Trainer

In a fascinating 32Red Sprint Cup, David Elsworth is hoping his decision to supplement Sir Dancealot at the cost of £15,600 pays off when he takes his chance in the six-furlong feature (4.15).

An impressive winner of the Lennox and Hungerford Stakes, the improving four-year-old was a surprise entrant earlier this week.

Elsworth also saddles Master The World in the Unibet Mile (2.25) at Haydock and Ripp Orf is a key contender in Ascot's valuable Cunard Handicap (2.45).

At Kempton, the Newmarket trainer saddles Galloway Hills on his first run since being gelded (5.35).

Jockey

There are few jockeys in better form than Oisin Murphy at the moment. Following a terrific Juddmonte International victory on Roaring Lion, Murphy has enjoyed 15 wins over the last fortnight, operating at an impressive 24 per cent strike-rate.

He looks to have a competitive chance in all seven races on Haydock's card and partners The Tin Man for the first time in the Sprint Cup.

Other noteworthy mounts include 2017 Sussex Stakes winner Here Comes When, who runs in the Unibet Mile, and impressive debut winner Floating Artist in the Ascendant Stakes.

Horse

Royal Ascot did not go to plan for Harry Angel, when Clive Cox's star sprinter got his left-hind leg stuck on the starting stalls and injured himself before the Diamond Jubilee Stakes.

That leg injury was thankfully not career-ending, and the four-year-old will bid to defend his Sprint Cup crown at Haydock, having won the Group 1 so impressively 12 months ago.

A four-length victor in the race last year, Harry Angel is a hot favourite to repeat the feat and another emphatic success could set up the son of Dark Angel for an awesome autumn.

Race

Haydock's Sprint Cup is well worth watching, but Kempton's opener, the Group 3 188Bet September Stakes (2.05), is the stage for a returning superstar.

Enable has not raced since triumphing in last year's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, but the John Gosden-trained filly is ready to make her return after a 342-day absence.

It will not be an easy reintroduction, with King George VI runner-up Crystal Ocean also in the field. David Probert has picked up an exciting spare ride on the Sir Michael Stoute-trained four-year-old.
