Harry Fry says he has "never known pressure like it" as he hands Noel Fehily the final ride of his career on Get In The Queue in the Goffs UK Spring Sale Bumper at Newbury on Saturday.

Fehily has ridden 175 winners for Fry, teaming up with the Dorset trainer to land Grade 1 success with Unowhatimeanharry and Bitofapuzzle while also riding stable stars Rock On Ruby and Neon Wolf.

They combine forces for the final time in Newbury's penultimate race with the unbeaten Get In The Queue, who scored by 16 lengths at Exeter last time out.

Fry said: "Noel has played a huge part in helping to get us to this point. He has been ever present on our biggest days and memorable on the big occasions. We've had some fantastic days with him and he'll be irreplaceable.

"We are hoping we can send him off in style over the next few days and with a winner on Saturday. It has worked out quite nicely that this was the plan rather than running in the Champion Bumper. It would be a fairytale ending and we'll give it a good go."

The pair will be seeking a third successive win in the valuable bumper having won with Bullionaire and Caribert.

Fry added: "We've never known pressure like it. We've done well in this race but that seems almost irrelevant now. It would be a huge feather in our cap if we can win it.

"Get In The Queue is a very exciting young horse who is two from two, but this race is now a lot higher up the pecking order as it normally would be."

Bonus for Bowen

With Fehily retiring, Fry could give more opportunities to Sean Bowen, who has ridden four winners for the yard this season.

Fry said: "We've been using Sean throughout the season and we may use him a bit more, but we'll be using all the jockeys a bit more.

"Sean is freelance and has other yards to ride for but I expect he'll ride for us more frequently with Noel retiring."
