Evening racing: three horses to follow across the all-weather cards
There is a bonanza of all-weather action this evening with meetings at Kempton (first race 4.10), Wolverhampton (4.50) and Dundalk (5.30). Here are three horses to note
Headman 5.10 Kempton
The Roger Charlton-trained Headman earned quotes of 33-1 for next year’s Qipco 2,000 Guineas following his easy debut win at Newcastle. Headman, owned by Khalid Abdullah, bids to maintain his unbeaten record when carrying a 7lb penalty in division one of the 7f novice stakes.

The son of Kingman appears well above average and is unsurprisingly odds-on to make it two from two.
Flaming Spear 6.40 Kempton
A record of two wins from three all-weather starts makes Flaming Spear of interest in the Listed British Stallion Studs EBF Hyde Stakes.
The talented six-year-old is owned by Brighton & Hove Albion chairman Tony Bloom and boasts some high-quality handicap form.
Flaming Spear, trained by Dean Ivory, comes out on top on official ratings in this open contest and has solid claims of scoring at this level for the first time.
Spanish Dawn 9.00 Dundalk
Spanish Dawn is edging nearer to a first win and may well strike in the finale at Dundalk.
The four-year-old daughter of Helmet, owned by Pamela White and trained by John McConnell, finished a close third on her first start over 1m2½f at this track five days ago.
She steps up to 1m4f this evening and has a leading chance if she stays the trip.Evening cards
