Eight challengers have been entered to potentially take on Enable in Saturday's Unibet September Stakes (2.35) at Kempton, including last season's St Leger winner Logician.

A stablemate of Enable, Logician is a surprise possible opponent, with both stars trained by John Gosden and owned by Khalid Abdullah. Frankie Dettori has been confirmed to ride Enable and the pair could also take on Alignak, Prince of Arran and Fox Tal.

The September Stakes is a familiar route to the Arc for Enable, as she won the race in 2018 before going on to score at Longchamp the following month.

Elsewhere on a busy weekend, 15 entries were made for the Group 1 Betfair Sprint Cup Stakes (3.25) at Haydock.

Seven-length Hungerford Stakes winner Dream Of Dreams is out for a first win at the top level taking on Oxted, victorious in the July Cup on his last start. Cieren Fallon retains the ride.

Art Power failed to show his usual sparkle when sixth in the Nunthorpe last time but the Tim Easterby-trained runner is tested at six furlongs this time.

Also in the line-up is Commonwealth Cup winner Golden Horde and the last two winners of the race – The Tin Man and Hello Youmzain – could also line up alongside Tabdeed, Glen Shiel and Archer's Dream.

Benbatl, who was due to run at Goodwood last weekend but was scratched because ground conditions were not considered suitable, could also be in action at Haydock, with the Saeed bin Suroor-trained six-year-old entered in the Betfair Superior Mile (1.45).
