High Definition out to 7-1 with a new order at top of the Derby market
Bolshoi Ballet and Mohaafeth leapfrogged High Definition in the Cazoo Derby market on Thursday and now head Paddy Power's Classic market as 5-1 joint-favourites.
High Definition, who won the Beresford Stakes last year for Aidan O'Brien, drifted out to 7-1 with the bookmaker after a bad blood count ruled him out of Saturday's Derby Trial at Lingfield.
Paddy Power spokesman Paul Binfield said: "It's unfortunate High Definition has been forced to miss Lingfield and as a result he's now drifted out to 7-1 and has been usurped by Bolshoi Ballet and Mohaafeth at the top of the market as new 5-1 joint-favourites."
Bolshoi Ballet, winner of the Ballysax Stakes last month for O'Brien, also holds an entry in the Dante at York but could take in the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial at Leopardstown on Sunday.
Bolshoi Ballet is joined at the head of the market by Mohaafeth, who won the Listed Newmarket Stakes in bloodless fashion last Saturday.
Kyprios and Carlisle Bay are set to head to Lingfield for O'Brien in High Definition's absence on Saturday, a race which could have another significant impact on the Derby market.
