One of the key horses in the Tote Ten to Follow competition delivered as hoped and expected on Sunday when Bob Olinger duly obliged at Punchestown.

Picked by 46 per cent of stables, the Henry de Bromhead-trained novice chaser is the fifth most selected horse in the game after Honeysuckle, Shishkin, A Plus Tard and Appreciate It.

With so many teams having picked Bob Olinger it means there has been little change at the top of the leaderboard. Nine of the top ten have him on board and therefore consolidated their position thanks to the 17.42 points from his convincing success in the Grade 3 Kildare Novice Chase. Studio Shirley 19 is the odd one out and drops to tenth place, while Amelie 1 5 retains top spot.

Also at Punchestown, Dysart Dynamo confirmed his qualities with a 19-length win in the Grade 2 Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle, adding 22.4 points to his tally and Willie Mullins will have a decision to make in targeting the Supreme or the Ballymore at the Cheltenham Festival.

It was a British-based runner who topped the points scoring last week with the Nicky Henderson-trained Mister Fisher landing the Grade 2 Silviniaco Conti Chase at Kempton, notching 22.88 points but for just 0.6 per cent of stables.

Threeunderthrufive continued his excellent season for Ten To Follow players by clocking up a hat-trick of wins with victory in the Grade 2 Hampton Novices’ Chase at Warwick.

That secured 22.72 points for 0.4 per cent of stables and catapulted him up the list of leading horses into seventh place.

There were also notable victories for Falco Blitz (21.40 points) at Kempton and a first win over fences for Cornerstone Lad (21.3 points) who won under foggy skies at Wetherby.

The action this weekend turns to Ascot, where Shishkin, repesenting 73.6 per cent of stables, and Energumene (41.3 per cent) are set to take each other on in the Clarence House Chase to establish top billing in their division.
