It was a glorious week at Goodwood for the fillies as Royal Ascot winners Alcohol Free and Wonderful Tonight rewarded their supporters with another bumper points haul.

Coronation Stakes heroine Alcohol Free continued trainer Andrew Balding's brilliant season when proving too strong for Poetic Flare in the Sussex Stakes, adding 56.50 points to her tally with a Group 1 bonus race success.

Representing 11 per cent of the total stables, she was the most picked Ten To Follow winner in the past seven days as she moved up to sixth place in the overall standings.

Three days later, Wonderful Tonight followed up her Hardwicke victory in Saturday's Lillie Langtry to reaffirm her Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe credentials. She picked up 22.70 points for 1.5 per cent of stables.

Many players would have rued the late absence of Stradivarius in the Goodwood Cup, with Trueshan seizing his Group 1 opportunity to rack up 27.81 points for five per cent of stables.

Prince Alex was the next most-picked horse to get his head in front on the Sussex Downs last week. On his first start for Michael Bell, the four-year-old landed Saturday's Summer Handicap to collect 20.80 points for 0.3 per cent of lists.

Among those also victorious at Goodwood, Kinross earned 30.35 points when striking in the Lennox Stakes, while Last Empire clocked up 40.55 points for her surprise success in the Oak Tree Fillies’ Stakes. Both were scoring for one solitary stable.

Shadwell Estate-owned pair Qaader and Maydanny were also in the Goodwood winner's enclosure, both representing seven stables to take 23.20 and 20.80 points respectively.

Away from Goodwood, the four horses to pick up winning points were Magny Cours (16.50), Judicial (16.50), Artistic Rifles (15.60) and Emaraaty Ana (12.80).

The transfer window opens on Monday, August 9, offering all stables the chance to substitute two horses. The next bonus race is the Juddmonte International at York on August 18.
