Kevin Ryan gunning for more Group 1 glory with Glass Slippers in Flying Five
Fresh from a Group 1 strike with Emaraaty Ana in the Sprint Cup at Haydock, Kevin Ryan is hoping to repeat the trick with Glass Slippers in Sunday's Derrinstown Stud Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh.
Glass Slippers will be bidding for back-to-back wins in the five-furlong Group 1 and is reported to be in rude health by her trainer after finishing third on her seasonal reappearance in the King George Stakes at Goodwood in July.
"Glass Slippers goes to the Curragh and she's in great form," said Ryan. "It was the logical step after Goodwood to head back to the race she won last year. She came out of Goodwood great."
