ITV Racing tips: one key runner in each of the seven races on ITV4 on Saturday
Coral Racing Club Handicap Chase, 3m
Tile Tapper had the option of contesting the Classic Chase at Warwick but appears here instead and bids to improve on his good form this season, including his latest course-and-distance second. Classy staying handicappers Annsam, Enrilo and Scottish Grand National second Kitty's Light are among tough opposition.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: TILE TAPPER
Course-and-distance second (soft) at Christmas when upped in trip and Smarty Wild was third; major player
1.50 Warwick
eventmasters.co.uk Hampton Novices' Chase (Grade 2), 3m
Galia Des Liteaux looked like a Graded winner in waiting before pulling up in the Kauto Star Novices' Chase last month and faces a stern recovery mission against Complete Unknown, who goes for last year's winning trainer Paul Nicholls. Irish raider The Goffer also holds strong claims for Gordon Elliott.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: GALIA DES LITEAUX
Made mistakes and pulled up at Kempton; very impressive the time before
Coral Silviniaco Conti Chase (Grade 2), 2m4½f
The absence of Shishkin has left the race without a real superstar but Pic D'Orhy is a high-class performer and likely to be a hot favourite to follow up his Peterborough Chase win. Paint The Dream was an easy winner at Newbury last time and steps up in class, while Grade 2 winner Angels Breath makes his return following a mammoth layoff.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: PIC D'ORHY
Won the Pendil over course and distance last term and the Peterborough Chase on latest outing; respected
Ballymore Leamington Novices' Hurdle (Grade 2), 2m5f
Knowsley Road is unbeaten in two starts over hurdles and heads a deep field for this contest, which includes recent winners Ginny's Destiny, Grey Dawning and the unbeaten Givega. Snake Roll finished third to subsequent Tolworth winner Tahmuras two starts ago before getting back to winning ways at Newcastle last time.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: GREY DAWNING
Big gamble landed in a Kempton handicap and deserves a crack at this level
Coral Lanzarote Handicap Hurdle, 2m5f
Green Glory is a rare Irish raider for the Charles Byrnes team and is well fancied to back up his Leopardstown win over Christmas. Outlaw Peter is a course-and-distance winner and steps into handicap company for the first time, while the likes of West Balboa and Dubrovnik Harry remain unexposed and last year's winner Cobblers Dream is back over hurdles.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: WEST BALBOA
Has form figures of 122 under rules; still open to further improvement; appealing type
Wrigley Group Classic Chase, 3m5f
Guetapan Collonges hails from a strong staying family and could continue his progression in an open contest that features Irish raider Mr Incredible and the classy Threeunderthrufive. Grumpy Charley was an impressive winner at Newbury last time, while last season's Welsh Grand National winner Iwilldoit and 2021 Classic Chase winner Notachance are also among the field.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: IWILLDOIT
Won by nine lengths in the Welsh National at Chepstow (3m6f) in December 2021 when last seen
Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle, 3m1f
Ashtown Lad was an impressive winner of the Becher Chase last time and reverts to hurdles in preparation for a possible tilt at the Topham Chase. Gordon Elliott saddles Level Neverending, while the Irish are also represented by the classy Ronald Pump.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: GLIMPSE OF GALA
Clearcut win at Kempton (3m), showing a strength of stamina on soft; unraced on heavy
