Following a dry summer conditions are finally right for the talented Trueshan, who sets the standard in this quality staying event. He was last seen finishing third in the Goodwood Cup, and was well clear of the reopposing Coltrane. Get Shirty and Stratum also run.

The unbeaten Meditate aims to emulate the likes of Sky Lantern, Love and Minding by taking this prestigious contest. The four-time winner takes on emphatic debut scorer Tahiyra, Never Ending Story and British raider Lakota Sioux.

Cazoo Park Stakes, Group 2, 7f
Kinross is somewhat of a specialist at the seven-furlong distance and attempts for a fifth success at the trip. He won the City of York last time out and faces Garrus, who arrives here following a good third in the Maurice de Gheest. Double Or Bubble goes for a third win of the season.

Goffs Vincent O'Brien National Stakes, Group 1, 7f
Aesop's Fables is as short as 10-1 for next year's 2,000 Guineas and looks to build on the early promise of his two easy wins. Hans Anderson and Proud And Regal were behind him over course and distance last time while Marbaan is a fascinating contender for Charlie Fellowes.

3.55 Doncaster
Cazoo St Leger Stakes, Group 1, 1m6½f
New London has been all the rage for the final British Classic of the season since powering clear in the Gordon Stakes at Goodwood. The form was boosted considerably by runner-up Deauville Legend landing the Great Voltiguer Stakes last month. Queens Vase winner Eldar Eldarov is proven over the trip, while connections paid £50,000 to supplement Haskoy earlier this week.

Has been finishing strongly as if this trip will be within reach; has among the best form
4.10 Curragh
Comer Group International Irish St. Leger, Group 1, 1m6f
The brilliant Kyprios is out to continue his dominance of the staying division with a third Group 1 success this season. The Ascot and Goodwood Cup winner seeks a first Classic against Hamish and Raise You while dual winner Search For A Song is another to be feared.
