ITV Racing tips: one key runner from each of the eight races on ITV4 on Saturday

1.15 Newbury
Coral First For Horse Racing Handicap Chase, 2m½f

The unexposed Gamaret makes his seasonal and chasing debut for Venetia Williams and already has displayed a fair amount of ability. Last year's winner Gallic Geordie also runs, while Only Money finished second here last time out.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: GAMARET

Probable handicap blot; goes straight over fences after just two runs in novice hurdles and stable won this in 2020 with a lightly raced novice

1.35 Warwick
Poundland Handicap Hurdle, 3m2f

Langley Hundred has turned a corner since conditional jockey Elizabeth Gale has taken over riding duties. Last Quarter and Farmer's Gamble are most likely to deny them a hat-trick.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: ONE FER MAMMA

Was a convincing C&D winner on heavy ground last season and ran well for a long way on last month's reappearance outing

Coral Bet Bundles Handicap Hurdle, 2m4½f

Pikar has plenty of potential, while Blenkinsop steps up in grade in his quest to complete a four-timer.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: BLENKINSOP

Much improved since stepped up in distance this season, he shows no sign of having reached his limit and can complete a four-timer

2.10 Warwick
Poundland Conditional Jockeys' Veterans' Handicap Chase, 3m

High Counsel won this in 2019 and tries again on the eve of his 14th birthday. Recent winner Go Steady is an obvious candidate, while Midnight Moss shaped well in defeat recently.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: GO STEADY

Made it 6-15 over fences when forging clear at Lingfield four weeks ago and is a major player again if he copes with this step back up to 3m

2.25 Newbury
Coral Racing Club Mandarin Handicap Chase, 3m2f

This race can sometimes offer clues for next season's Coral Gold Cup and Tallow For Coal and Laskalin could well continue to improve. Topweight Undersupervision was a good third last time and is another to note.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: SHANTY ALLEY

Resurgent early this month when reappearing after wind surgery and can build significantly on that display if he's judged on his form two years ago

2.40 Lingfield
talkSPORT Download The App Irish EBF Fillies' Handicap, 1m

Morgan Fairy was placed in the London Mile and is lowered in grade here by William Haggas. Wadacre Grace has been second on her last two starts and remains on the same mark.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: MORGAN FAIRY

Record on the AW reads 21323 and her Kempton third in September is solid form

3.00 Newbury
Coral Challow Novices' Hurdle, Grade 1, 2m4½f

Paul Nicholls relies on Hermes Allen to provide him with a third consecutive win in this. He is a warm favourite following his breathtaking performance at Cheltenham last month and Vicki Vale, Crambo and Joyeux Machin are among his chief dangers.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: HERMES ALLEN

Not yet proven on soft ground but otherwise has a most compelling profile, having bolted up in a Grade 2 novice at Cheltenham's November meeting

3.35 Newbury
Coral Get Closer To The Action Novices' Limited Handicap Chase, 2m6½f

Malinello, Nothin To Ask, Unanswered Prayers and Tea For Free all arrive after recent victories.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: DOCTOR KEN
