'It’s the first day we'll feel a little more normality. We miss the people'

For the first time since mid-March, spectators will be back at racecourses in England on Wednesday. Peter Scargill spoke to some of those who are involved on the day to get their thoughts about the return of crowds

It’s so important for everyone and it’s the first day when we’ll see, and feel, a little more normality on the racecourse. I didn’t notice spectators not being there as much at the smaller meetings as we’re used to fewer people. However, on the really big days it’s been hugely noticeable and really sad, especially at Cheltenham.
