'It's for us to lose' - Nicholls hopeful title's in the bag after super Saturday

Paul Nicholls believes a 12th jumps trainers' championship is "for us to lose" after a thumping weekend of success featuring a 10,419-1 seven-timer across Kempton, Chepstow and Wincanton on Saturday.

Betfair Sportsbook slashed Nicholls to 1-10 (from 1-6) to regain the title from Nicky Henderson, who is currently only third in the standings with a near £800,000 prize-money chasm between the two after the Seven Barrows master temporarily closed his stable after Christmas.

Grade 2 scorers McFabulous and Master Tommytucker topped the haul for Nicholls on Saturday, who for only the second time in his career sent out his 100th winner of the season before January 1, and he is excited by the spread of talent being unleashed from his Ditcheat base.
