'It's all systems go' - Flooring Porter readied for Klassical Dream rematch

Gavin Cromwell expects a physically improved version of Flooring Porter to appear in the Jack de Bromhead Christmas Hurdle on Wednesday when the dual Stayers' Hurdle winner bids to wrestle back his Leopardstown crown from old foe Klassical Dream.

It was in the 3m contest that the star stayer recorded his first Grade 1 success in 2020, and he came up just short in second in the same event 12 months ago when Klassical Dream struck after a controversial start that saw him steal a march on his rivals.

Flooring Porter was beaten 12 lengths in fourth on his comeback in the Grade 2 Lismullen Hurdle last month and could again face off with the three rivals he finished behind there.
