Mullins fancied to dominate but Elliott still favourite for title
Willie Mullins, so long the dominant force at the Punchestown festival, is once again expected to shine at the 2018 meeting, but his big rival Gordon Elliott remains favourite to clinch a first Irish jumps trainers' championship.
An 11-time title winner, Mullins is 4-6 with Paddy Power to win more prize-money on each day of the meeting than Elliott.

He is 20-1 to train ten or more Grade 1 winners with the same firm, who make it 100-1 the Closutton trainer has all 12 top-level scorers during the week.
William Hill have Mullins 7-4 to train between ten and 13 Punchestown winners, while six to nine and 14 or more are 9-4.
Five or fewer is 6-1, while Elliott is 2-1 to saddle seven to nine winners, between four and six and ten or more are both 9-4 and it is 5-1 for three or fewer.
Douvan, Min and Un De Sceaux give Mullins a formidable hand in Tuesday's BoyleSports Champion Chase and Paddy Power make him 11-10 for a 1-2-3, while Getabird and Douvan, two of his other aces, are 7-2 both to strike.
Elliott remains the bookmakers' 8-11 title favourite from Mullins, who is evens.
Hills go 4-7 for a new name on the crown and 5-4 for the reigning king.
