Sea Of Class to work towards another Arc bid

William Haggas has one filly to look forward to on Sunday in One Master, running in the Hong Kong Mile, but an even more exciting one for 2019 after Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe runner-up Sea Of Class returned to his Newmarket yard on Thursday, with a return to Longchamp on the cards already.
"We have no other plans at the moment bar something in early October next year [the Arc]. She definitely won't go to Dubai, she'll have a normal European prep – we'll see what suits her and us."
Sea Of Class and James Doyle wowed racegoers with her blistering turn of foot, storming home to come agonisingly close to reeling in Enable in the closing stages. The duo were gifted an unfavourable draw – hopefully One Master and Ryan Moore can overcome the same at Sha Tin.
No-nonsense Moore
David Elsworth has in the past professed a preference for avoiding media appearances, but was on flying form when stepping in for a temporarily AWOL Silvestre de Sousa at Friday's Sha Tin press conference.

"He said 'they're very good Elsie, you might have well have stayed at home'," recalled Elsworth, adding "I respect his judgement, I'm just hoping he's wrong."
