Silvestre de Sousa has had his head turned.
British racing may need to don its best frock and show the Brazilian-born winning machine the love his undoubtable talents deserve because, to listen to him talk, there may not be a second chance. There may not even be one.
Ask if he can see himself even returning and he is far from sure. "Time will tell. I like it here. I like the atmosphere and the racing's very competitive, but I think I will go back as England's my home. But I like to be here too."
