Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore, so often the scourge of bookmakers, rode to their rescue with the success of Found.

Ladbrokes were facing multi-million pound liabilities on the 5-2 morning favourite Postponed, who was backed into an industry SP of 15-8.

David Williams, Ladbrokes' media director, said: "An Aidan O'Brien 1-2-3 in a massive Group 1 would normally be a nightmare, but that wasn't the case. Postponed would have been far and away the worst result so we dodged that disaster.
