'I'd be surprised if Westover could beat Desert Crown - we have him for speed'
The Desert Crown camp believe their horse will have too much speed for Westover should the two Derby winners meet in this month's hotly anticipated King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Qipco Stakes.
The Derby winner is a best-priced 5-6 for the Ascot Group 1 on July 23 when he will put his unbeaten record on the line in his open company debut.
Westover, who was third at Epsom, met trouble in-running but ran out an emphatic seven-length winner of the Irish equivalent last time out and is Desert Crown's nearest rival in the betting at 3-1.
