Heavy rain forces waterlogged Exeter to cancel Sunday's meeting

Exeter: Saturday morning inspection was decisiveCredit: Edward Whitaker
Exeter's seven-race jumps card on Sunday has been cancelled.
Officials at the south-west circuit woke on Saturday morning to find the track waterlogged after a whopping 55mm on Friday.
They staged an inspection and took little time in calling the fixture off.
Uttoxeter is also due to race in Britain on Sunday and while the going is soft, heavy in places and rain is forecast on Saturday, the forecast for raceday is dry and breezy.
Sunday's Ladbrokes Troytown Chase tops the bill at Navan, where conditions are described as yielding.
