Hayley Turner to return on Monday after being kicked by a horse at Sandown

Hayley Turner is set for a quick return to action after escaping relatively unscathed from being kicked by a horse at Sandown on Friday.
She was stood down following that incident and gave up her three rides at Wolverhampton on Saturday. But her agent Steve Croft said: "She is stiff and sore but otherwise she is fine. She won't be riding today but will be back on Monday."
Turner, who earlier this season became the first woman to ride a winner at Royal Ascot for 32 years, has two mounts at Chepstow on Monday afternoon and one at Windsor in the evening.
David Mitchell
The funeral of David Mitchell, the Daily Mirror racing journalist who died earlier this month, is to be held at Taunton Deane Crematorium on Monday, September 9.
It will be a private service for family only. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Injured Jockeys Fund.
