Harrington's Our Duke set to return in Down Royal Grade 1

Our Duke, who won the BoyleSports Irish Grand National in April by 14 lengths, is set to make his reappearance in the JNwine.com Champion Chase at Down Royal on November 4.

The Jessica Harrington-trained seven-year-old, who is officially rated only 1lb below the trainer's Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Sizing John, is among 20 entries for the 3m Grade 1 event.

Speaking on Friday, Harrington said: "Our Duke is well after his summer break and Down Royal remains the plan to start off his season."

Gigginstown House Stud, who have won the event five times, account for 11 of the entries. Valseur Lido, who made it four in a row for the owners in the race 12 months ago, is among their entries, which also include recent Munster National runner-up Alpha Des Obeaux and last season's Grade 1-winning novices Road To Respect and Disko.

Coneygree, the 2015 Cheltenham Gold Cup winner, the Jonjo O'Neill-trained pair Minella Rocco and More Of That and the Neil Mulholland- trained Indian Stream are the British-trained entries. Six British-trained horses have won the event, most recently Kauto Stone in 2012.

Shaneshill is the sole Willie Mullins-trained entry for a race Ireland's champion trainer has won only once. He took the inaugural running with Florida Pearl in 1999.
