Glorious Goodwood: ITV Racing Tips
Racing Post expert, Stuart Redding, picks out his best bets for an action-packed Saturday in a bid to help you find more winners.
Laafy has produced two solid efforts over 1m4f since a winter gelding operation and looks sure to go well again. He easily won a Newbury handicap in June and looked ready for this stiffer test when bumping into a well-treated rival Deja at Haydock last time out.
Cold Front was a beaten favourite in his first three starts but he finally made the breakthrough at Haydock last time out, looking comfortably the best horse in a 7f maiden. He moves into handicap company with a workable mark and could still turn out significantly better than this grade in time.

Saturday ITV7 Competition Tips

Users will need a Sky Bet account to enter so if you don't already have an account, sign up above and take advantage of the free bet offer. The Racing Post experts make their selections for the competition.
Race 1 – 2.25 Goodwood
There are plenty of serious contenders, but preference is for Calling The Wind who left a very favourable impression with his win at Ascot.
Race 2 – 2.40 Newmarket
Stoweman hasn't matched his novice/maiden form in handicaps as yet but the ground was heavy for the first of them and the other was after a nine-month break. He's worth another chance.
Race 3 – 3.00 Goodwood
The selection has to be Enbihaar who produced a storming display to make this race on good to firm ground the pick of her four wins last season. John Gosden's mare did not live up to favouritism at Newmarket three weeks ago but shaped as if this return to 1m6f will help produce a much better show today.
Race 4 – 3.15 Newmarket
There are plenty of leading contenders that are closely matched on form, but they are taking on some unexposed types who are open to plenty of further improvement, notably the Sir Michael Stoute trained Katara.
Race 5 – 3.35 Goodwood
William Haggas doesn't have many sprint handicappers but he has still won this race twice in 12 years, with a 1-2 in 2008. This year he has a solid candidate in Nahaarr who was hard to fault when winning at Newbury and should have a career beyond handicaps in due course.
Race 6 – 3.50 Newmarket
Roger Charlton's stable stalwart Withhold is preferred having been much nearer to peak form this season than some of today’s rivals, some of which have a fair bit to prove.
Race 7 – 4.10 Goodwood
A return to form is required from Homespin but he can be excused his Newmarket reappearance run (he became unbalanced) and has plenty in his favour, as he won at Glorious Goodwood last year and his trainer has a fine record in this race.
