Four who take the eye in action tonight
This evening's racing comes from Bellewstown, Epsom, Newbury and Tipperary and with racing kicking off at 5.05 on the Flat in Ireland and finishing at 9.05 at Newbury, there is plenty of time to back a few winners
The relative strength of the two-year-old fillies' form at Royal Ascot gets tested in this contest with the Albany sixth clashing with the Queen Mary fourth.
Heartache thrashed her rivals in the Queen Mary with Now You're Talking filling fourth spot in that race. She remains at the minimum distance for Joseph O'Brien, while his father Aidan drops Actress back in trip after her sixth to Different League in the Albany.
It always pays to take note of what Willie Mullins is running - you never know where the next Hurricane Fly, Quevega or Vautour may come from.
Well, in the case of those three the answer was France, the same country as Royal Hawk, who made a winning debut for Mullins at Cork in May and who bids to make it two wins from two starts for the Closutton trainer in the 2m½f novice hurdle.
For those who are unconvinced this four-year-old is worth a watch, it might be worth noting the horse he beat on his Irish debut trotted up by 20 lengths on his next start and who knows what more Royal Hawk has to offer.
Robert Winston is the man trusted to produce the coolest ride of the day as he gets the leg up on the quirky Pastoral Player for the first time.
Now ten, Pastoral Player is old enough to know better but enjoys making life difficult for his rider, flashing his tail and rarely putting his all in if he is made aware there is a fight on.
Hopefully distracted by the topography of Epsom, Pastoral Player will need to be kidded into the race by Winston to get him to the front where it matters without him even noticing.
