Solid as a rock Atzeni takes Leger festival win haul to eight

This was the day 12 months ago when Andrea Atzeni both won and lost the St Leger before winning it back at a later date.

The highs and lows were yesterday much less extreme but Doncaster continued to be a lucky course for the rider, who made his memorable meeting even better by posting a four-timer, highlighted by Breton Rock's win in the Saint Gobain Weber Park Stakes.
