Mullins optimistic Wicklow Brave can go one better than Dynamite

Willie Mullins believes Wicklow Brave has a great opportunity to improve on his stablemate Max Dynamite's runner-up finish 12 months ago and claim another Melbourne Cup for Ireland.

The champion jumps trainer is desperate to get his hands on one of Flat racing's most prestigious prizes, with that desire only increased by the near-miss last year.

Mullins, who has also chanced his arm with Simenon in the past, said: "It would be fantastic to win. It's a race we hope to have more and more horses being competitive in, and it's a goal I think we can achieve."
