With seven victories to his name Aidan O'Brien is the most successful trainer in the 40 year history of the Irish Champion Stakes. He has never won the race with a filly and with six-time Group 1 winner Minding and Found, runner-up in the event a year ago, the Ballydoyle trainer has genuine prospects of doing so in today's Leopardstown showpiece in which he is also represented by the colts, Highland Reel and Sir Isaac Newton.

Minding has enjoyed an excellent campaign, winning four Group 1 events and losing out only once when narrowly beaten in the Irish 1,000 Guineas.
