Identify a horse on day one you think will really profit from the testing ground

Peter Bowen, trainer Sean has ridden Ms Parfois and he says that four miles on testing ground in the National Hunt Chase will be right up her street. She’s better off with Duel At Dawn, who she beat at Warwick, too.

When he won the Supreme Trial at Haydock on heavy ground in January, most would have assumed the Supreme would be run in very different conditions, but with the rain arriving he looks a terrific each-way bet.

Will Kennedy, jockey I have to plug my only ride on the first day – Testify in the Close Brothers Novices’ Chase. He’s won three novice chases impressively this season and, although he has to carry top weight, I think the testing ground will play to his strengths.
