It's rare to find two people more laid-back about life than Noel Fehily, and virtually unheard of to find them both in the same room, but then four-year-old Niamh Fehily and two-year-old Michael are chips off the old block when it comes to chilling and certainly aren't prepared to let a little thing like the Cheltenham Festival disturb their equilibrium.

Even Dad hasn't mastered the art quite like his offspring, it seems, and as he sits down to discuss his prospects for the big four days, he reports an almost Zen-like lack of perturbance among his children.

"To be honest, they'd rather watch Peppa Pig," he reports with a sigh. "If you can get them to turn the TV over to watch racing for five minutes then you're doing well."
