Trainer Lucinda Russell looks back on a moving festival success for Brindisi Breeze and Campbell Gillies

Brindisi Breeze arrived at Cheltenham in the form of his life and was chasing a four-timer in the hands of 21-year-old rider Campbell Gillies, up against great Irish hope Boston Bob and Ruby Walsh in the Albert Bartlett in 2012. The pair were to give Scotland a memorable first festival triumph in a decade before tragedy struck, with both horse and rider losing their lives later that year.
