It was a dramatic finish to the meeting's main event, with Lord Windermere (Davy Russell) winning by a short head from On His Own (David Casey), with The Giant Bolster (Tom Scudamore) three-quarters of a length away in third. But the winner had drifted right across his two challengers . . .

As soon as the horses crossed the line I knew there'd be an inquiry –the interference was obvious, there'd been a drift from left to right across the course. It was called quickly and then we began to convene the personnel.
