Enable still not quite reaching heights of last year despite historic Turf win

The Breeders' Cup Turf provided another opportunity for Enable to improve her sensational CV, but the form of the race gives another hint that she's not quite the same horse this year.

Taken in the context of her career this is not necessarily a bad thing – if she can become the first horse to win the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and follow up at the Breeders' Cup while below her best she's clearly quite something.

It is obvious that if you sit this year's form against what she did in 2017, when she won five Group 1s, including a King George and an Arc by margins of two and a half to five and a half lengths, she is clearly operating at a slightly lower level.
