What advice would you give your ten-year-old self?
Never give up. Everyone will have ups and downs, good and bad days, but you must remain focused on what you're trying to achieve.

What is your earliest racing memory?
Running up and down the outside fence at Casino racecourse in northern New South Wales as a five-year-old and trying to race the horses.

How does it feel to become only the second rider to reach 1,000 winners in Hong Kong?
It's very satisfying. Riding a single winner in Hong Kong is very hard and to have had so much success over a number of years through plenty of hard work makes it all feel worthwhile.
