Tipperwood lands the title and £104,832 first prize as Frodon battles for points
A thrilling finale to the jumps season at Sandown on Saturday had just about everything . . . except a points scorer to topple Tipperwood from atop the Ten To Follow table.
With no rival emerging from the woodwork to fell Tipperwood that team collects the top prize for the winter competition of £104,832, having reclaimed the number one position from the redoubtable Mild Illusion team of longtime Ten To Follow enthusiast Dick Fellows-Smith thanks to the neck victory over Roksana in the Stayers Hurdle at Aintree.

That's all there was in it but a difference of nearly £90,000 as the gallant runner-up claims the £14,976 for second place, his best position after many years of entering the Ten To Follow.
With Honeysuckle, Shishkin and Monkfish in the victorious stable, Tipperwood managed to pick all three of the top-scoring horses and although Mild Illusion had the top four, with Abacadabras, it was not quite enough.
Honourable mentions too must go to the Hurricane Heights outfit, with four teams in the top ten, and Grizz with three in the top ten. To put their achievements in perspective, there were a further 37,844 teams behind them.
The redoubtable Frodon forged a path into the top ten on the last day, battling back against Mister Fisher to get up by a neck and score 21.30 points, taking his total for the season to 95.80 and finishing the sixth-highest scorer in the game.
Greaneteen put in a mammoth performance against Altior in the Celebration Chase, bringing home 33.50 points for 44 stables. Put The Kettle On, who was in many of the top-scoring stables, finished in fourth and so was unable to add to the 82.60 points she had accumulated.
The final bonus race of the season, the bet365 Gold Cup, provided plenty of drama with the demotion of Enrilo to third and Potterman claiming the honours. However, with both horses having taken significant steps forward during the season, neither were on the Ten To Follow list back in November, so the bonus points went unclaimed.
