A steady upward trajectory saw Clive Cox post a career-best 71 wins in 2019 and the small matter of a global pandemic won't thwart the popular Lambourn stalwart's upbeat outlook for 2020.

Although especially prolific with classy sprinters like Harry Angel, Profitable, Lethal Force, Reckless Abandon and Gilt Edge Girl, who provided him with the first of nine Group 1s in the Prix de l'Abbaye a decade ago, Cox's range of talents isn't limited to speed merchants. His handling of the 2016 Prince of Wales's Stakes hero My Dream Boat is testament to that.

This year's three-year-old delegation is spearheaded by Group 1 candidates Golden Horde and Positive.
